Google Authenticator adds an extra layer of security to your Sykka account.
Before You Begin
Download and install Google Authenticator on your device from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
You may also use another compatible authenticator app. Whichever app you choose, make sure it comes from a trusted provider and is downloaded from an official source.
How to Set It Up
Open the Sykka app and go to Profile.
Select Security Settings.
Under Authentication Methods, select Google Authenticator.
Complete the required security verification if prompted.
Open Google Authenticator and tap the + button.
Scan the QR code displayed in the Sykka app.
If you cannot scan the QR code, select Show Setup Key in Sykka and enter the key manually in Google Authenticator.
Enter the 6-digit code generated by Google Authenticator in the Sykka app.
Tap Verify and Enable.
Once verification is complete, Google Authenticator will appear as Active under Authentication Methods.
If the Verification Code Does Not Work
Make sure you entered the code currently displayed in Google Authenticator.
Verification codes refresh regularly. If a code is about to expire, wait for a new one and try again.
Make sure the date and time on your device are set automatically.
Confirm that you are using the Google Authenticator entry linked to your Sykka account.
If the issue continues, contact Sykka Support for assistance.
Security Reminder
Never share your QR code, setup key, or 6-digit Google Authenticator code with anyone. Anyone with access to your QR code or setup key may be able to generate verification codes for your account.
Sykka representatives will never ask you to provide this information.
