Is My Money Safe on Sykka?

Your stablecoins are held in custody by Planck Age Panama S.A. under a custody agreement, kept strictly separate from the company's own assets. Under that agreement we don't lend, stake, pledge, rehypothecate or otherwise use your assets — they stay where they are until you move them.

Assets may sit in shared wallet addresses alongside other clients', with internal records attributing your balance to you and reconciled against the on-chain balance on an ongoing basis.

The fiat and card side runs through Photon Dance (Hong Kong) Limited, a licensed Hong Kong Money Service Operator, with cards issued through licensed issuing partners.

Card security

  • Freeze or unfreeze your card instantly in the app

  • Real-time notifications for every transaction

  • 3-D Secure verification for online purchases

  • Dispute unauthorised or incorrect transactions through the Mastercard chargeback process

Account security

  • Two-factor authentication on login and withdrawals

  • Biometric login and device binding

  • We will never ask for your password, verification codes, or a transfer of funds through DMs or private channels. See how to verify an official Sykka account.

What we can't protect against

Sykka is not a bank, and your funds aren't covered by any government deposit insurance scheme. Stablecoins carry their own risks: their value depends on the issuer, and issuers can freeze or blacklist addresses at the protocol level — that's outside our control.

On-chain transfers are irreversible. A withdrawal sent to the wrong address or the wrong network can't be recovered, which is why we ask you to check carefully before confirming.

And keeping your credentials safe matters: anyone with your login and codes can act as you.

If something looks wrong

Freeze your card in the app immediately, then contact our support team via in-app chat.
