The relationship between a referrer and a referred user is determined by the referral code entered during registration.
A referred user becomes a valid referral after completing their first eligible card purchase. The program includes both direct and second-level referrals.
Types of Referral Rewards
The Program offers two types of referral rewards: card activation rewards and spending rewards.
Card activation reward = the card activation fee paid by a first-level Referred User × the card activation reward rate applicable to the Referrer’s tier. This reward will be credited only after the Referred User completes their first qualifying purchase.
Spending reward = the qualifying spending amount of a first-level Referred User × the spending reward rate applicable to the Referrer’s tier.
Referrer tiers are determined by the number of valid referrals. Each tier is subject to the following reward rates:
Rewards Type | LV1 | LV2 | LV3 | PARTNER |
First-level card activation rewards | 20% | 25% | 30% | 40% |
First-level spending rewards | 0.05% | 0.10% | 0.20% | 0.25% |
Second-level rewards | 10.00% | 10.00% | 10.00% | 10.00% |
Second-level reward = the card activation reward and spending reward actually received by the Referred User in their capacity as a Referrer × 10%.
Example: A refers B, and B refers C. After C activates a Sykka Card and completes a qualifying purchase, B, as C’s Referrer, receives the first-level rewards. A’s second-level reward equals 10% of the rewards actually received by B in connection with C. If B does not actually receive the relevant reward, or if the reward is cancelled, reversed, or clawed back, no corresponding second-level reward will be generated for A, or A’s second-level reward will be reduced accordingly. Second-level rewards do not generate any further downstream rewards.
Reward Distribution, Lock-Up Period, and Claiming
Referral rewards will be paid in USDT.
Lock-up periods:
Spending rewards will be subject to a 30-day lock-up period after being credited.
Card activation rewards will be subject to a 14-day lock-up period after being credited.
During the applicable lock-up period, the rewards may not be used or withdrawn.
Manual claiming: After the applicable lock-up period ends, the Referrer must manually claim the rewards. Rewards do not expire and will not be forfeited solely because they remain unclaimed.
Once claimed, the USDT will be credited directly to the Referrer’s available balance. It may be used for purchases on the platform or withdrawn in accordance with the platform’s withdrawal rules. The minimum withdrawal amount is 10 USDT. Withdrawal fees will be charged in accordance with the platform’s applicable fixed fee schedule for the selected blockchain network. No additional usage restrictions will apply.
If the Referrer is unable to claim rewards because the account is in an abnormal status, including being frozen or under risk-control review, the Referrer may claim the rewards after the account status has been restored.
Refunds and Clawback of Rewards
If the original transaction that generated a reward is refunded, reversed, cancelled, or charged back, the corresponding reward will be clawed back.
Order of clawback: The relevant amount will first be deducted from rewards pending claim, including rewards still subject to a lock-up period. If the pending rewards are insufficient, Sykka may, to the extent under applicable law and applicable user agreements, recover the outstanding amount from already claimed promotional rewards or the user’s general account balance.
Negative balance: If a clawback causes the account balance to become negative, the Referrer will be unable to use Sykka Card services until the negative balance has been fully replenished.
The final clawback amount will be determined based on Sykka’s system records.
Q&A
Sykka Referral Program FAQ
Q1: How do I invite someone to Sykka?
Go to the Referral page to find and share your referral code with the person you want to invite.
They must enter your code during registration to be linked to you as a referred user.
Q2: Can a referral code be added or changed after registration?
A referral code that has already been linked to your account cannot be changed.
If you did not enter a referral code during registration, contact Sykka Support within 48 hours after creating your account to have one added.
Referral rewards are only calculated after the code is added. Card opening and spending rewards relating to activity completed before then will not be credited retroactively.
Q3: When does an invited user become a valid referral?
An invited user becomes a valid referral after completing their first eligible card purchase.
A purchase paid entirely with KaUSD does not qualify.
Q4: What referral rewards can I earn?
You may receive two types of referral rewards:
Card opening rewards: A percentage of the card opening fee actually paid by your referred user.
Spending rewards: A percentage of eligible card spending made by your referred users.
All referral rewards are issued in USDT.
Q5: When is the card opening reward generated?
The card opening reward is generated after your referred user completes their first eligible card purchase.
Q6: How is my referral reward rate determined?
Your reward rate is based on your number of valid referrals.
Level | Valid Referrals | Spending Reward Rate | Card Opening Reward Rate |
LV1 | 0–10 | 0.10% | 20% |
LV2 | 11–30 | 0.15% | 25% |
LV3 | 31–100 | 0.20% | 30% |
LV4 / Partner | 100+ | 0.30% | 40% |
For example, if you are an LV1 user and a user who registered with your referral code spends 1,000 USDT or USDC from their own deposited funds on eligible card purchases, you will receive 1 USDT.
Q7: What is a second-level referral?
A second-level referral is someone invited by one of your directly referred users.
For example:
You invite User B.
User B invites User C.
User C is your second-level referral.
Q8: How are second-level referral rewards calculated?
When your second-level referral makes an eligible purchase, their direct referrer receives the applicable spending reward. You receive an additional reward equal to 10% of the direct referrer’s reward.
For example, if User B earns 1 USDT from User C’s eligible purchase, you will receive an additional 0.1 USDT.
The second-level reward does not reduce the reward received by the direct referrer.
Q9: When can I claim my referral rewards?
Each referral reward remains pending for 30 days after it is generated.
After the pending period ends, the reward will move to your Available to Claim balance.
You must claim it manually in the Sykka app.
Q10: Do referral rewards expire?
No. Referral rewards never expire, whether they are unclaimed or have already been claimed.
However, if the purchase that generated a spending reward is later refunded, reversed, or cancelled, the corresponding reward will be reversed.
Q11: What can I do with claimed referral rewards?
Once claimed, the USDT will be added to your available balance. It may be used for card purchases or withdrawals in accordance with Sykka’s applicable rules.
Q12: What happens if a purchase is refunded or reversed?
If a purchase that generated a spending reward is refunded, reversed, or cancelled, the corresponding reward will be cancelled or deducted.
If the reward has already been claimed or used, the corresponding amount may be deducted from your available balance.
Q13: How is the card opening reward calculated?
Each time one of your referrals pays to open a card, you earn a percentage of the card opening fee they actually paid. The applicable percentage is based on your current referral level.
If the card is opened for free, no card opening reward will be generated.
Q14: Can Sykka cancel or recover referral rewards?
Yes. Sykka may review referral relationships and reward eligibility to prevent fraud, multiple accounts, abuse, or other misuse of the program.
Rewards obtained through invalid or abusive activity may be cancelled or recovered.
